Superintendent of Schools

As I begin my third year serving as Superintendent of the Webster City Community School District, I continue to feel incredibly grateful and proud to be part of this exceptional community. My wife, Michele, and I along with our four children, Brody, Blake, Ridge, and Faith are thankful to call Webster City home and have thoroughly enjoyed becoming active members of this vibrant, student-focused district.

Over the past two decades, I’ve served in a range of educational roles in Iowa from agricultural education teacher and FFA advisor to school counselor, principal, and superintendent. Each step in my journey has strengthened my belief in the power of strong school culture, collaborative professional learning, and well-designed systems to support meaningful outcomes for all students.

Here in Webster City, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a dedicated team of educators, staff, and community partners to advance important district-wide initiatives focusing on student achievement, school safety, financial responsibility, and long-term planning. From implementing professional learning communities and strengthening career and technical education, to expanding extracurricular opportunities, and improving operational efficiency, our work continues to align with our district’s mission:

Looking ahead, I remain committed to building on the proud tradition of excellence within our school district while continuing to find new ways to grow, adapt, and better serve our students. I look forward to deepening the relationships that make this district so special and working collaboratively with staff, families, and community members to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and prepared for success.
